3. Project Scope and Changes

The scope of work will be based on the agreed project description. Requests for additional work, changes to materials, unforeseen conditions, or changes requested by the customer may result in additional charges and may affect the project schedule.

Any significant changes may require approval through a written change order or other written authorization.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices and payment schedules will be established for each project and communicated to the customer through the applicable estimate, proposal, contract, or work order.

Customers are responsible for making payments according to the agreed payment schedule. Failure to make required payments may result in delays, suspension of work, or termination of the project, subject to applicable law and the terms of the applicable agreement.

5. Materials and Site Conditions

Project pricing and schedules may depend on existing conditions at the property. Hidden damage, structural issues, moisture, mold, deterioration, electrical or plumbing issues, or other conditions that are not reasonably visible before work begins may require additional work or costs.

Material availability may also affect project schedules. When necessary, reasonable substitutions may be discussed with the customer.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and work areas, removing or securing personal belongings as appropriate, and informing us of known conditions that may affect the work.

The customer should also ensure that authorized representatives, homeowners, tenants, or other occupants are aware of the scheduled work.

7. Scheduling and Delays

Estimated project dates are provided in good faith and may be affected by weather, material availability, site conditions, customer-requested changes, inspections, permitting, subcontractors, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes.

8. Workmanship

We strive to provide professional workmanship and quality results. Normal characteristics of construction and remodeling work, including minor variations in texture, color, finish, or existing surface conditions, may occur.

Any concerns regarding completed work should be communicated to us promptly so that the issue can be reviewed and, where appropriate, addressed.

9. Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for defects, damage, deterioration, or conditions that existed before work began unless specifically included within the agreed scope of work.

Repairs to existing surfaces may not completely eliminate underlying defects, movement, cracking, moisture problems, or other pre-existing conditions.

10. Property Protection

We will make reasonable efforts to protect the work area and property while performing services. Customers should remove valuable, fragile, or personal items from areas where work will be performed.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improperly installed or defective materials, hidden conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Subcontractors and Third Parties

Depending on the project, certain work may be performed by qualified subcontractors or third-party professionals. When applicable, their work may be subject to the terms of the project agreement and applicable laws.

12. Permits and Approvals

Where permits, inspections, approvals, or other governmental requirements apply, responsibility for obtaining them will be determined as part of the project agreement.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and cooperating with any required approvals or inspections.

13. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may have the right to cancel or terminate a project as provided in the applicable written agreement and under applicable law.

If a project is cancelled or terminated after work has begun, the customer may remain responsible for work completed, materials purchased or ordered, approved changes, and other amounts properly due under the applicable agreement.
